about

For our 15th release, we have a newcomer joining the Fade To Funk family.

Moscow based Baltimore Chop is a fresh face on the scene but has already has releases on Sub_Urban & Fieldfunk, with many more on the way.
BC's '42 Dolla' EP is a fine slice of low slung, chilled grooves and heavy basslines.

Lead track '42 Dolla' is soaked in dusty, trippin' beats, vintage picked guitar licks and moody Epiano chords alongside those cheeky sampled vocals.
On the remix, we welcome Gents & Dandies boss Khillaudio and he does not disappoint. The pace is jacked up and that Epiano chord sequence is pushed front and centre accompanying the groove packed rolling bassline. The overall production is classy throughout with lots of dancefloor sensibility.

Side effect shares similar qualities to 42 Dolla but injects more pace and psychedelic pads to the mix. Perfectly suited to those warm up sets.
Remixing Side Effect, Fade To Funk bossman, Jeff Fader steps up and explores a different approach. Pushing the tempo, filling the production with lashings old skool synths and modern house beats. Perfect for those transitions into the peak time hours.

An EP fit for any occasion for which we thank Baltimore Chop. We can see his future becoming very promising indeed.
